Happy Easter everyone! Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend with friends, family, and loved ones. This week at the Crumb Club, we're settling down a bit. It's been a hectic week from unleashing the Sinister Six in Spider-Man Remastered to hoarding shines in Super Mario Sunshine, fishing with Del Lago in Resident Evil 4 Remake (with Toasty bait to boot), and booping the snoots of Big Daddies across Rapture in Bioshock not to mention all the stuff that's been happening behind the scenes when stream isn't running. As such, this week is going to be a much shorter update ranging from discussing some changes that are being made to meme commands to the future of this series of weekly posts.
But first, a rundown of last week's post!
New Emotes added to the stream and the Breadbox Discord!
New subscriber-only commands!
New follower commands!
"FIRST!" meme scene changes after April 19th, 2023.
Various adjustments made to audio. (still pending changes.)
New Commands? Make it so!
Last week, we discussed meme commands; a set of experimental subscriber-only commands that allowed people to trigger meme scenes without spending Channel Points. In the time that's passed I figured "why not give everyone else meme commands of their own?" Starting today, several existing commands such as !whoops and !death will summon meme scenes of their own, on top of new commands made explicitly for followers and viewers of the channel. Cooldowns have also been adjusted to a maximum of three minutes across all tiers, though this will be changed depending on the length of specific meme scenes.
The following commands now make use of meme scenes:
!hello - Say hello to the streamer and chat!
!lurk / !loaf - Lurk in chat (thank you btw!)
!whoops - Adds one whoopsie to the "Whoops!" counter.
!death - Chat adds one death to the death counter.
!woo - For hype moments! (look, after the last time I streamed Mario Sunshine, this was inevitable.)
Subscribers are also getting new meme commands and adjustments to their cooldown periods. Upper Crust members can now make use of the following commands:
!clip - To take a clip of the last 30 seconds of stream!
!dejavu - Have I been here before?
!chaos - O FORTUNA INTENSIFIES.
!boned - When we're utterly, completely, royally, and totally screwed.
!nut - When things work out juuust right!
!dwtd - So many dumb ways to die!
!supremevictory - ULTRAAAAAAAAAAA! SUPREME VICTORY.
NOTE: "!rage" is no longer available as a command has returned back to the channel point redemption menu!
A Bread-ge of Honour
Sub Badges have been a long time coming and I'm pleased to announce that they're finally here for members of the Upper Crust! From a single wheat grain to a bag of flour all the way to a slice of buttered toast, this collection of grainy goodness was brought to life by none other than AirGlowAiri and she did a fantastic job drawing them! More sub badges are still due to come out as more slots are made available over time and you'll be the first to know when new sub badges are uploaded.
There'll be another time!
Our final update this week (told you this was going to be a short post) has to do with the frequency of these weekly updates. Next week will not have a TWCC post. Rather, updates to the stream will instead be posted on the #server-news channel of the Breadbox and on Twitter. These update posts will return next week but for the moment a lot of work needs to be done to catch up on ongoing work for redesigning this website. In its place will be something completely different and - dare I say- quite crumby.
Schedules will still be posted on Discord & Twitter but this week will have less streams so as to make it easier to catch my breath from last week. Starting on Wednesday, we're going back to RE4 before continuing with a chill Hi-Fi Rush stream on Thursday and capping it off with Metroid Fusion on Friday. Streams will take place at the usual time frame but stay tuned for updates and additional streams whenever they happen. As always, thank you for tuning in and for your support of the channel! I'll see you next stream and until next time:
Stay Toasty!
